Hi, I'm Monique. After a Hairdressing career which has spanned  from Master Stylist, Master Colourist/Colour Expert and Technical Educator for Matrix Professional Hair Products, Salon Manager, Salon Owner through to Make-Up Artist, Hair and Wig Stylist for Film, Photographics, TV and Theatre through to a position as Head Of Wigs and Makeup for Disney's "The Lion King"  I chose to take a break to start a family and create my organic skin care range- blossom eco skin care.

 I am now super excited to be  back in the Hairdressing Industry with my Organic, Eco concept Salon "blossom organic Hair Beauty Wellbeing".  Holding true to the core values of my blossom brand , blossom organic Hair Beauty Wellbeing is all about a cleaner, safer, less toxic experience for you, the client, us the Hair Stylist, as well as the environment. I have carefully curated all products in my Salon. They are all Natural, Organic and Plant based products and hair colours, they are Sulphate, Paraben, Ammonia, PPD, Toluene, Resorcinol and Cruelty free and contain high amounts of Certified Organic Ingredients. All products in salon are cruelty free, the majority are also Vegan and all are Aussie owned. As well we are proudly Forster/Tuncurry’s only Curly Hair Specialist salon, we’ve got all your Curly Girl needs covered!

We take every effort to be as sustainable as possible by reducing, re-using, re-purposing, refilling and recycling as much as possible, because we care. We are super excited to have been invited to join the SUSTAINABLE SALONS Linnk, Regional Program. We are now part of an organisation that shares our passion for a cleaner, greener, more sustainable future. All our salon waste is recycled, even the hair which is made into “Hair Booms” which are like big hair filled cushions that are used to soak up oil spills. All our Plastic, Paper and Aluminium foil waste (resources) are now sold to recyclers with the profits going to OZHARVEST who feed the needy and hungry. WIN, WIN!

Our Story

As a colour expert I have thoughtfully and carefully curated award winning, Professional, Organic, Plant based Hair Colours that are Ammonia, PPD, Resorcinol, Toluene, Sulphate and Paraben Free. Australian owned and designed with the focus on natural and organic ingredients while delivering superb professional results. Our range of colours provide a cleaner, low tox, more gentle hair colour, extra conditioning and cleaner, safer, salon air quality. We are also excited to offer a range of 100% plant based herbal hair colours, custom blended especially for you.

In Salon we use and offer an extensive range of professional Organic Hair Care products,  Australian owned and made, Vegan, Certified Cruelty Free,  Botanically derived, Sulphate and Paraben Free, Palm Oil free and with a high Certified Organic content- Everescents, Clever Curl, Eco Lab and DNA Organics. All Everescents and Clever Curl Haircare is packaged in 100% post consumer recycled plastic milk bottles and we proudly offer a refill service for the Shampoos, Conditioners and Treatments that we stock, helping you to reduce your plastic consumption too.

We offer Certified Organic spray tanning with Australian made, Cruelty Free,  Eco Tan.

Our Environmental Policy

We also believe that our beauty shouldn’t compromise the health and wellbeing of the environment or the other animals that inhabit our world. At every chance we aim to minimise our impact. From the water reducing, filtering, ionising back wash basin shower ecoheads, our filtered drinking water/organic fair trade coffee/tea, our policy of reducing/re-using/recycling/refilling your Shampoo and Conditioner bottles. We are also currently transitioning from recycled aluminium foils to foils manufactured from construction waste, which are reusable.
